Yorkshire and Humber Policy Network Group

The Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) have recently set up and facilitate a Yorkshire & Humber Policy Network Group – which essentially is a group of Y&H members from Housing Associations and Local Authorities and will provide members with the opportunity to meet up quarterly in different member venues across the Y&H Region to share good practice, discuss policy developments; what they mean for the Y&H region and hear from other organisations around their challenges and approaches adopted to mitigate impact on the business and their tenants.

Attendance of the group is wide and varied and have included Managers and Officers from  Welfare Reform teams, Financial inclusion teams, Income management, Policy, Strategy and Research, Business & Performance Improvement and other similar roles.

The meetings will be held across the Y&H region at different member offices, and will usually meet for two hours each quarter, some meetings will include presentations from external speakers, the members will inform the NHC of topics to be covered and speakers to invite.
