On the 14^th July 2022, the Northern Housing Consortium in partnership with Karbon Homes and Bolton at Home brought together senior leaders from across the North’s housing sector to advance the role that providing good quality, affordable homes and thriving neighbourhoods can, and should, play in the Government’s Levelling Up agenda to boost living standards, improve public services, restore local pride, and empower communities.

Against a backdrop of political uncertainty, the day proved to be a valuable opportunity to share good practice and explore new thinking; furthering our understanding of the issues facing people and places in the North and highlighting the work NHC members undertake to ensure the neighbourhoods we serve have a roof over their head, a community to call home, and enough money in their pocket to live a dignified life.
