Assistive technologies can provide support through responsive services in people’s homes that contribute to a preventative approach to care. They are a vital tool in enabling people to live with dignity, security and independence.

The Technology Strategy Board is investing £18 million over the next four years to demonstrate how new technologies and innovative services can help support independent living for older people and people living with long-term conditions, and improve their quality of life.
