As registered providers in England implement changes as a result of the Housing and Planning Act 2016, the Northern Housing Consortium will be presenting a range of events, roundtables and networks that deal with the impacts of various provisions within the Act.
We are pleased to present our first webinar that looks specifically at Chapters 1 and 2 of the Act relating to Starter Homes and to Self-Build and Custom Housing.
The webinar will look specifically at local authorities’ duties to promote the supply of starter homes and new planning permissions associated with starter homes as well as the planning provisions relating to a planning authorities’ duty to grant planning permission for self-build and custom houses.
This event will be suitable for local authority staff with an interest in legal, planning and development issues.
