Tenant Involvement Consultation Roundtable

The Northern Housing Consortium will be hosting a roundtable to address the Department for Communities and Local Government’s recent consultation to amend the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard.

This roundtable will take place at the offices of Berneslai Homes, Gateway Plaza, Off Sackville Street, Barnsley, S70 2RD on Wednesday 1 March 2017 between 1pm and 3pm.

The purpose of the roundtable will be to explore the consultation paper; analyse and discuss the changes proposed and contribute thoughts and ideas to a short submission that the NHC will prepare on this topic. You can view the consultation paper here.

The changes proposed by the consultation are relatively small however we are keen to hear from members working with tenants about their thoughts as to how the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment framework could be strengthened.

This roundtable would suit staff at all levels of an organisation working with tenants in an involvement and empowerment role.
