Supported Housing Funding Consultation (NE)

The Northern Housing Consortium will be hosting a roundtable on the supported housing consultation recently announced by the Government. This will take place on Wednesday 13 December in the Horizon Room, Thirteen Group, North Shore Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2NB between 10am and midday.

This roundtable is for NHC members only.

The proposals in the consultation could potentially see huge changes to the way in which supported, particularly short-term and sheltered extra care schemes, are funded.

This will be an opportunity to discuss how the proposals will impact your organisation; hear from colleagues in the sector about how it will impact them as well as to discuss the wider implications of the suggestions made in the consultation.

The thoughts, ideas and opinions generated at the roundtable will feed in to the NHC’s response to the consultation that will seek to give a Northern angle to the proposals. In addition to this, we are working with major providers of supported and sheltered accommodation to ensure that our consultation has the widest possible evidence base.
