Leasehold Working Group

The next meeting of the Leasehold Working Group will take place on Wednesday 6 June between 2pm and 4pm at the offices of Ward Hadaway in Leeds. New attendees to the group meetings are encouraged to attend.

This working group is for NHC members only.

We will be discussing the outcomes and initial feedback from the leasehold bench marking exercise recently undertaken. This piece of work looks to bench mark fees and costs associated with leaseholders across the North of England to provide an accessible comparison of charges levied by housing organisations in the north. This is very much a work in progress so new members are more than welcome to join and have their leasehold charges reflected as part of the wider bench marking exercise.

In addition to this, John Murray, Executive Partner at Ward Hadaway will give a short presentation exploring the latest news from the leasehold sector and how this affects registered providers.

As ever, the success of the meeting is dictated by those attending suggesting agenda items with many people choosing to use the working group as a forum to discuss issues arising in their own work and to seek the opinion and views of their peers.
