The Rental Exchange is a partnership between Big Issue Invest and Experian to address the financial exclusion challenges faced by many social housing tenants.
It was primarily designed to give renters a fairer deal by helping them build up their credit file. Beyond this, the Rental Exchange can provide access to data that can help social housing providers better understand their tenants’ financial circumstances. The NHC, in conjunction with Experian, would like to invite NHC members to attend a FREE roundtable to find out more about the initiative.
The session will cover:
- the project’s latest developments.
- the opportunities for your organisation in joining the Rental Exchange.
- the data available exclusively to Rental Exchange members to support organisations through Welfare Reform.
- further information and learning as well as networking opportunities.
Many NHC members are building up their customer intelligence data and Rental Exchange membership offers housing providers access to more in-depth tenant data. Experian can provide both a high-level overview of your tenant population, as well as assessment of income and financial wellbeing on an individual tenant level. This helps with validating existing data, highlighting higher risk cases and opportunity to target services and resources to those who need support.
